what is succession planning?

“I Just Need a Will...”

Most people begin their estate planning journey by saying, “I need a will.”  And that’s a great start, but a Will alone might not cover everything.

Here’s what your Will can’t do:

  • It doesn’t give anyone authority to act while you’re alive but incapacitated

  • It doesn’t control superannuation or jointly owned property

  • It may not protect vulnerable family members or blended family dynamics

That’s where succession planning comes in.
